Built by Goodyear, the F2G was a higher powered version of the Corsair with a 3000 h.p. R-4360 and fitted with a clear view bubble canopy. This example ex USN 88454 is painted in its 1946 markings when with the Naval Air Test Center at Patuxent River MD. Now at the Museum of Flight, Seattle.

Delivered new to Delta in 11.57 and operated until 03.68. Emerald Shillelagh Air Travel Club 05.68 to 07.72. Fleet no. '33' with T & G from 05.80 to date of this image.

Delivered new to Northwest Orient as N289 in 08.57, serving until used for ground instruction from 09.67. Bought by T & G 10.89. Seen being prepared for lease to Aerochago from 18.05.91. HI-599CT from 08.91. Crashed on take off from Santo Domingo 18.02.93.

Delivered new to Sabena as OO-SFB on 13.12.56. Served with Persian Air Services as EP-AEP 04.61 to 01.62. OO-SFB again until sale to Spantax as EC-BSP in 10.69; stored from 01.77. HP-868 1978 until bought by T&G in 06.80 as N3775U. To HI-619SP with Aerochago in 04.92 but crashed in sea near Miami 06.11.92.

Ex VF-21 aboard USS Ranger. Preserved by the then Champlin Fighter Museum at Mesa.

Delivered to US Navy as PV-2 Harpoon BuAer 37211 in late 1945. Sold in 1957 and converted to agricultural sprayer in 1966. Now operated by Globe Air Inc.

T-39A shortly after disposal from Davis-Monthan. Fin serial 0-03498 and markings deleted. This aircraft did not assume a subsequent civil identity.

1945-built PV-2 Harpoon BuAer No. 37444 used by VPB-130 Squadron U.S. Navy at the war's end. Retired in 1954. Became N7086C in 1957 and converted to a tanker. Later fitted with a RALCO metal belly tank and used as a borate tanker using spray bars. Stored at Chandler Memorial from 1986.
