VH-TBN was sold in Mexico as XA-SJE in September 1993.

Built for Frontier airlines in 1968, MGM Grand Air operated this 727 along with two others and three DC-8s on VIP charters and luxury scheduled service between Los Angeles and New York. In 1995, owner Kirk Kerkorian sold all six aircraft to Connie Kalitta, who had also bought American International Airways' operating certificate and ended MGM Grand service..

In 1989 Stansted witnessed the unusual sight of three Super Sabres when they called in during their ferry flight fom Konya AB back to the USA after service with the Turkish AF. This F-100D was accompanied by F-100C 54-2091 (N2011M) and F-100F 56-3948 (N2011V); registered N2011U to Tracor Flight Systems of Mojave and later Global Aerospace but was reportedly destroyed at Livermore, CA on 4.6.08

Has been stored at Tozeur in Tunisia ever since the first Gulf War, along with 747SP YI-ALM

Seen in the unfamiliar livery of Trans Ocean two years after my shot at the same place in Scanair colours. The aircraft joined Burlington in 7.90 as a freighter but crashed on approach to Toledo, OH in bad weather on 15.2.92 while performing a cargo flight from Seattle (TT 70,430h)

No stranger to Southend as she began her career there as G-ATEK with Channel Airways in 3.66. Later VP-LIV and V2-LIV (LIAT), RP-C1041 (PAL), G-ATEK, CS-TAV (LAR) and 6V-AFX. Technically by the time of this shot, the original British registration was once again allocated but in was never re-applied, the aircraft being broken up at SEN in 7.91 after storage
