I'm not sure if these guys landed to ask directions but if you look closely you can see they are consulting a rather large map !

This was the last completely British built BAC-111. It was delivered to Tarom as YR-BCO and in this shot it still has the basic Tarom livery.

On lease to Loganair. Later joined them permanently as G-BMXW

Although this looks like a civil helicopter it was actually operated by the Army Air Corps in support of the Special Air Service. It was captured from the Argentine Army (AE-331) during the Falklands conflict in 1982

Although carrying UAS titles on the fin this aircraft was operated by Canafrica on flights mainly for Thompson Holidays in the summer of 1986. It was supposed to operate mainly from GLA but the aircraft was frequently unserviceable and became known as The White Ghost due to its infrequent appearances !
