Exercise Sentry Cowboy was an annual event at Gulfport Air National Guard Base with primarily Air Guard and Air Force Reserve squadrons participating. This A-7D is currently on display at the Iowa Aviation Museum in Greenfield, Iowa.

Originally built as a CH-3E and converted into a HH-3E. Retired in 1994, and in August 1996 transferred to the Tunisian Air Force with s/n L82109.

Originally built as a CH-3E, converted to HH-3E configuration, and finally to a JHH-3E for US Army. Retired in 1991 and registered with the FAA as N60EV. Registration cancelled in March 2018.

This a/c was participating in Exercise Sentry Cowboy at the Gulfport ANG Base, MS. It is currently on display at the Hermeskeil Museum in Germany.

The annual Exercise Sentry Cowboy included tactical training events involving C-130s being escorted by A-37 and A-7 attack aircraft into "hot" drop zones.

Exercise Sentry Cowboy was held annually at the Gulfport Air National Guard Facility. Most of the units participating were from various Air Guard squadrons.

I took this slide from another 169 TASS OA-37B while enroute from Gulfport, MS ANG Base to NAS Memphis, TN. The A-37 was an enjoyable aircraft to fly, with plenty of power from the two GE J85 turbojets.
