Taku Air's Beaver played the part in the 1983 movie "Never Cry Wolf". When the filming of its part in the Yukon finished in March 1981, the aircraft was put back into pristine condition. Pictured after roll out in new paint, an accident on September 27, 1986 saw a hard landing on glassy water at Dease Lake cause the floatplane to flip over and sink. Rebuilt in 1995, it was sold as N45LA to Loken Aviation. Unfortunately on July 19, 1996 it crashed into rising terrain at Elfin Cove, Alaska. The remains were sold in 2009 and remain stored (somewhere), the registration expiring in 2013.

scan from the NK collection. - Maersk Air leased three HS-748's from Austin Airways in 1980/81; two of them received the full blue colours. A few years later, Austin Airways sold this aircraft to Air Creebec, but they lost the aircraft in a landing accident in December 1988.

Sold to Polaris Leasing and after a time in storage and a cargo conversion, returned to Canada with Royal Cargo Airlines / Canada 3000 as C-GDCC. Damaged on April 4, 2001 departing the runway in St John's, NL after an unstable approach, the fuselage was eventually moved to Gander for use by The College of the North Atlantic.
