Accepted by the US Navy in 1963, 150023 would fly with various squadrons, including two tours in Vietnam. Eventually flying with specialty squadrons VX-5 Air Test and Evaluation Squadron and the Naval Test Pilot School before going to Miramar for Topgun instruction in 1974. Last with VC-1 at Barbars Point NAS, the aircraft was loaned by the Navy to the Naval Air Museum Barbers Point after retirement. The museum was served with an eviction notice by the Hawiian DOT and it closed in June 2020.

Accepted by the US Navy in 1963, 150023 would fly with various squadrons, including two tours in Vietnam. Eventually flying with specialty squadrons VX-5 Air Test and Evaluation Squadron and the Naval Test Pilot School before going to Miramar for Topgun instruction in 1974. Last with VC-1 at Barbars Point NAS, the aircraft was loaned by the Navy to the Naval Air Museum Barbers Point after retirement. The museum was served with an eviction notice by the Hawiian DOT and it closed in June 2020.
