DHC-3, msn 445, was delivered to Trans Provincial Air Carriers Ltd. in Terrace, BC in Aug. 1964. Changed name to Trans Provincial Airlines after buying two routes from PWA. TPA served forestry, mining, fishing and First National sites on the NW BC coast from bases at the Terrace, the Seal Cove seaplane base in Prince Rupert and Sandspit Airport. In June 1980 it was delivering groceries to an exploration camp on Crescent Inlet, about 55 km S of Sandspit, when the tide started to go out almost grounding the Otter! This inlet is now the northern boundary of the Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve.

K25 slide scan. Delivered 1956 as SE-BSR to SAS, Nor Fly LN-KLK 1975. Norsk Metropolitan Klubb 1984 as flying monument, donated to Flyhistorisk Museum Stavanger 1991 and put on static display. Image shows cleverly designed front door and integrated airstairs giving weather protection to boarding passengers. Other noteworthy details are the Convair eagle logo on tail top and fire extinguisher on standby, standard in piston engine days.

1977-built OE-GMP was the former D-CCHS and stayed on the Austrian register from 1980 until 1983. The next and final registration was N27TT, and after 2010 the Learjet was used for spares by Alliance Air Parts in Oklahoma.

Learjet 35A-257 was built in 1979. In 2022, it was still used for cargo services for Royal Air Freight as N417BA.

I-SNAF was retired and broken up at Milano-Linate in the late 80ies.

KLM's Ferdinand Pol (PH-TGG) when a new Convair 440 in 1953, N531SA was a Convair 580 when pictured with Summit Airlines. Utilized as a freighter from December 1977 until they ceased operations in 1988.

American machine tool manufacturer Kearney & Trecker assembled and marketed the Piaggio P.136 as the Royal Gull in the USA. Pictured with it's original registration in Renton, WA, N40029 became semi-derelict at Cartersville, GA circa 2010. Cancelled from the civil register in 2012, the aircraft is current again registered to Astre Air International in Colorado, but it's condition is unknown.

This a/c was transferred to the Turkish Air Force in July 1987. It is currently on display at Sahadir Sahin Parki-Tarsus in Turkey. Slide taken by Mr. T. Durham.

This a/c was destroyed in a crash at Butte Canyon, CA. on 12 May 1989. The Radar Intercept Officer successfully ejected but the pilot perished. Slide taken by Mr. Ted Durham.

slide scan from the NK collection. - 1980 seems to have been the last active year for this CL-44, it was reported as stored at Tripoli a few months later. Last seen there in derelict condition in 2002, it had finally disappeared by 2009.

A brand new Twin Otter delivered to Airwest Airlines May 29, 1980. Delivered green, it would be painted in the airline's new color scheme, but was sold before entering service.

OY-ATA was registered in Denmark from 1976 until 1984. The 1972-built Beech A100 was sold to Sweden, Norway and finally to Canada. The last operator was Wabusk Air, who retired the aircraft after an incident at Moosonee ON in December 2016.
