One of ten or so Senior Skyrockets built by the mother company - a dozen more were manufactured in Canada after the war. Assumed photographed when new, the aircraft wears an unidentified logo which seems to depict a torch. During the war, NC15300 assisted the US Army Corps of Engineers in constructing the Canol pipeline to Alaska. It formally became N15300 in April 1948, but the reg was cancelled one month later.

A French DC-2, apparently in Amsterdam. Fokker 'line number' 11. Renault planned a DC-2 version with its engines but after testing of this state-owned aircraft, CEMA more or less rejected the DC-2 as unstable - not without justification. Aircraft possibly ended up in Spain. Photo from: Nationaal Archief (Netherlands)

Briefly operated by Western Air Express, this Fokker F.32 eventually found a satisfied owner - Bob Spencer whose Air Mail Service Station in Los Angeles reportedly thrived. It was on the northwest corner of the intersection, then at 5453, today 5455 Wilshire Boulevard. The plane served at the gas station for about five years and was scrapped late in 1939.
