Chad bought four Mi-35s, on top of the seven or eight Mi-24Vs they bought earlier from the Ukraine. They were not lucky with the Hind in their inventory. One Mi-24V crashed in April 2006, two former Ukrainian Mi-24Vs were written off in 2007 and dumped at N'Djamena, and another Mi-24V was written off in 2008. Of the four Mi-35s, one crashed in 2008 and one was damaged due to a storm in 2017. This Mi-35 TT-OAS was the one that was damaged while hangared during the storm.

Chad bought four Mi-35s, on top of the seven or eight Mi-24Vs they bought earlier from Ukraine. This Mi-35 TT-OAR is a lucky one and still flies.
