My first photo of this fine P-51D Mustang, originally built in 1944, opb USAAF as 44-73877. 1951 9279 for RCAF, 403sqc at Calgary. 1958 sold to the first civil owner as N6320T. April 29th 1968 N167F Finefrock, Oklahoma until damaged September 1st 1969 while taxing at air show in Texas, collided with another Mustang. Rebuilt and rejoined with Finefrock until 1980. September 1980 sold to Scandinavian Historic Flight, and rebuilt at Fort Colllins, Colorado. First post-restoration flight made in 1985. 2001 repainted, still N167F.. LN-FOI was the last of the three Electras to be repainted late 1986, but I did not see it before this day in february 1988, arrived in the morning and parked at the Cargo terminalall day until teh evening when it took off again. LN-FOI kept these colours until wfu at Fornebu in 1997, as Fred Olsen shut down the airlines started in 1946, becuse he would not invest in new buildings at ENGM/OSL which was to open October 8th 1998, and the fleet of L-188 Electra was nearing their livit of flhying, while the 727F and the 737f took over.

Delivered new 9th February 1961 as L-188A Electra N9646C for Western Airlines.. 1969 converted to L-188A(F) freighter, still for Western. August 18th 1972 LN-MOI Nordic Air. LN-MOI bought by Fred. Olsen August 20th 1973, an rr to LN-FOH August 28th 1973. Op. by FOF in ex Nordic colours until repainted to FOF colours second half of 1974. Repainted to these new white FOF colours in 1985. March 1988 it was painted black for the "Air de Cologne" project by SAS Cargo.. FOF colours 1990, flew with TNT stickers in 1991, FOF cs until wfu 01-1997. OE-ILA 03-1998, C-GLBA 07-2007. 60 years of flying.

Converted to MD-82 in March 1997. In 2003 repainted to the new SAS colours, December 12th 2004 N868GA Allegiant Air, converted to MD-83, as ship no 868. July 31st 2016 wfu and later stored at Stuttgart Municipal Airport (KSGT / SGT). Later broken up there

Sorry the strong backlight, but I had a tip that a Fokker 50 had arrived at FBU for the first time, a demo flight for Busy Bee I beleive it was, I only reached to grasp my camera as I parked to get this departure shot at rwy 24.

April 1997 SE-KZF for Swe Aviation Europe (SAE). wfu August 2000. November 2002 9G-AIR Sobel Air Gabon, later Air Max Gabon and later La Nationale. October 2006 wfu and stored at Accra. LN-NPI was shot newly repainted to the 1986 revision of the BS colours, and seen outside the BU Hangar at FBU.

Built 1982 as a Tu-134AK for the Soviet Air Force, operated by "Aeroflot". 1993 RA-65904 Russia State Transport Company , and converted to Tu-134A-3. Seems to have been wfu in 2013. This was one of up to five Aeroflot aircraft parked at Fornebu while president Mikael Gorbachev visited Norway in 1988. Two Tu-154B-2x, this Tu-134AK and two Yak-40s.

Built 1980, ex N6679H and N400WP, when regiteretd January 28th 1986 as LN-MOB to Mørefly A/S, who wanted to start regional services from Ålesund to Aberdeen. In 1993 used as an Air Ambulance. From January 1998 it was transferred to Lufttransport, who were awarded to be responsible for "Statens Luftambulanse". Repainted to the standard red and white livery in 2002. October 7th 1998 LN-MOB became the LAST aircraft to arrive and depart Fornebu airport late in the evening, as the airport had closed at around 07:30 pm local time. 3 hours later it opened because of an ambulance, flown by LN-MOB.
