First flight November 4th 1974, and delivered new to SAS November 22nd 1974 as OY-KGP "Torbern Viking" and as one of the last DC-9-41s delivered that year to replace Caravelles and DC-9-21 on domestic flights with config Y122. 1984 repainted to the new SAS colours as seen on this photo 14 years later.. July 22nd wfu and stored at at ENGM. August 21st 2002 N41XS rr and stored at Roswell, broken up there in 2003. Seen after purshback from gate 28, LN-TUB is seen at gate 27, LN-RMN at gate 25, LN-BUG at gate 23 and LN-BRQ at gate 21. Busy morning ca 9am as ususal the day before FBU was closed.

Cancelled 24.March 1991 and parked in Denmark. 12.April 1991 LN-NVB again for Norving, Kirkenes ,but canceelled again after less than two months. 28.August 1991 SE-KTN Northg Cross Airways, and it reverted to FBU on shcedule from Ângelholm. Returned to Dornier as D-CBDW. 5.November 1993 9N-ACV opf Everest Air. April 1999 9N-ACV Gorkha Airlines transferred. Seen left at Skien airport after Norving went bankrupt.

In 1982 TF-FLG was repainted to the new Icelandair livery, with new name "Heimfari". 31st October 1989 sold to UPS and converted for cargo. April 1990 N940UP UPS ship 940, and re-enginged with two new RR Tay 651-54. Scrapped 2008.
