An early German pioneering aircraft from 1913 designed by Waldemar Geest. This airplane took part in the "Air Week" competition in Berlin-Johannisthal in May 1913, being the only plane of the competition to fly in very stormy weather. It is the only surviving example of the plane designed by Geest. It is displayed in an unrestored state and almost complete - only the wheels and part of the tail are missing.

A Polish utility aircraft built in 1945 at the Lotnicze Warsztaty Doświadczalne(LWD, Aviation Experimental Workshops) in Łódź, designed by T. Sołtyk. It was the first plane built and flown in Poland after the end of World War II. Some former German components were used for construction, primarily the Bramo Sh 14 engine and pipes from crashed planes. The airframe in the photo was the only plane of this type built.

A Polish jet trainer aircraft of composite construction, based on the concept of a flying simulator, designed by Edward Margański. It is the first Polish jet aircraft developed by a private company. The prototype presented in the photo made only two flights, the first of them took place on June 4, 2003. The aircraft was transferred to the collections of the Museum in Krakow on December 31, 2021. Since 2005, the Krakow museum has also had a pre-production mock-up, which can be seen in the photo here: https://www.airhistory.net/photo/216219/Not-known

An amateur plane built in 1967-1969 by Jarosław Janowski and first flown in 1970. The plane was built in a living room with an area of 18 m2 on the 2nd floor of a block of flats. Officially registered in 1976, destroyed in an accident in 1981 and then transferred to the Aviation Museum in Krakow, where it was rebuilt in 2008. In 1974, the designer modified aircraft's plans to meet American regulations regarding amateur construction. This version was designated J-1B Don Quichote. Several dozen J-1Bs were built abroad, including Czech Republic, Canada, Switzerland, Sweden and USA.

Prototype of Polish twin-engined small regional airliner, developed by Centralne Studium Samolotów (Central Aircraft Study) in Warsaw. A single example was built and flown in 1950, but no production followed. It was the first all-metal aircraft to be built in Poland following the end of the Second World War. After the plane was scrapped in 1960, most of the plane ended up in a children's playground in Warsaw. Only the front part of the fuselage survived and in 1967 it was transferred to the collection of the Museum of Aviation and Astronautic in Krakow.

This Havoc was used by the Soviet air force and was shot down by anti-aircraft artillery on April 9, 1945 during an attack on a German convoy. The plane was forced to land, and the crew was saved. The wreck was discovered at the bottom of the Baltic Sea in June 2013, 4 km from Rozewie at a depth of 14 m. In October 2014, the plane was recovered from the sea. The wreck has been exhibited at the Polish Aviation Museum in Krakow since 2021.
