The second of two Mil V-12 prototype helicopters, powered by four Soloviev D-24VF turboshaft engines. This aircraft first flew in March 1973 and was given to the Monino Museum in 1975, after the cessation of the development programme in 1974. It went on display as seen here, without a registration. Unfortunately in 2012 it was made to look like the first prototype by falsely painting it with that helicopter's registration CCCP-21142. The registration with which this second prototype actually flew during its operational life is unknown.

The M-15 was an agricultural aircraft intended to be used on the huge Soviet collective farms. In the end performance was disappointing and only 175 were built. In terms of mass produced jets it is, however, the only cropduster, the only biplane and the world's slowest jet. On display at the Central Museum of the Air Force at Monino.

The Li-2 (NATO reporting name 'Cab') was a licence-built version of the Douglas DC-3. It is often thought to be a straight Soviet reproduction but, in fact, there are over 1,200 changes documented from the Douglas engineering drawings. the most substantial was the use of the Russian Shvetsov ASh-62IR engines in place of the nine-cylinder Wright R-1820. This example is on display at the Central Museum of the Air Force at Monino.

The Lavochkin La-15 (NATO reporting name 'Fantail') was an early Soviet jet fighter and a contemporary of the MiG-15. It was popular with pilots because of it's easy handling and reliability. It's pressurised cockpit was an advantage at high altitude. However, although the La-15 had a number of technical advantages over the MiG-15, a combination of easier manufacture and lower costs led to the MiG-15 being favoured. Only 235 La-15s were built, serving with the Soviet Air Force until 1953.

This Tu-124 was delivered around August 1963 and retired as life-time expired in April 1981 and then preserved in the Central Museum of the Air Forces at Monino. Unfortunately, the cabin was badly damaged by fire in 2002 and at the time of this picture temporary protective sheeting had been used to cover the damaged fuselage.
