Ex USAF DC-3A-360 42-5694 and SE-APZ. With the Swedish air force the aircraft was used for signal intelligence over the Baltic sea. On 13 June 1952 it was shot down by a Soviet MiG-15 during such a mission. All crew perished. In 2003 the wreckage was located and in 2004 lifted from the sea bed. It is displayed in the Flyvapenmuseum underneath the main hall in blueish light giving an impression how it was found in 2003.

A forgotten, and perhaps forgettable design by Ernst Heinkel, the HD-35 was a three-seater with three separate cockpits but the front one is faired over here, as it usually was. The Swedish air force bought this airframe for evaluation as a trainer, but it failed to impress and was sold as SE-SAM.

Designated Sk14 in Sweden, the NA-16 advanced trainer was the progenitor of the famous AT-6 Texan / Harvard - note fixed landing gear, smaller engine, mixed construction and rounded rudder. This is an impressive reconstruction from an Australian CA-7 Wirraway, A20-223, and a Canadian NA-64 Yale.
