Among the hangars at Scottish Aviation. Previously XM285 of the RAF, delivered in 1958. Carries the badge of the RAF's Short Range Conversion Unit, based at RAF Odiham,1964 to 1967. Stored at RAF Shawbury before transferring, as Class B G-31-15, back to its birthplace at Scottish Aviation to be civilianised as G-AYFA. Joined Flight One Ltd, at Staverton Airport, Gloucestershire for survey work in 1972. Withdrawn from use in 1991. Airframe initially preserved. Only the cockpit section still survives, acquired from the Solway Aircraft Museum, now at RAF Sealand. This photo is copyright © David A.
