Some pieces of history. On 9 October 1941, this Miles Master I operated by 8 Service Flying Training School crashed in bad weather on the Cairn of Finglenny, Bridge of Dye, Angus, Scotland. The scattered wreckage of the aircraft was still present about 75 years later. This photo is copyright © Wim Sonneveld, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
