One of two aircraft preserved inside the building rather than sitting outside, is this Tampico. Three were used by the Angkatan Laut (Naval forces). At first registered L-203 to L-205, they were reregistered T-2301 to T-2303. Its mate, T-2303, was put in the Museum Penerbangan TNI-AL, on Juanda naval air station as L-205 by September 2020. As of 2025, the third one, T-2301, is believed to be stored at said base.

The Mi-2s that were obtained by the Indonesian Navy were probably not used. They were stored since 2003 and subsequently distributed for preservation, two at Juanda naval air base and this one in the museum near the harbour. This meant its construction number could be checked at last! It is said to be the one marked AX-2004 before delivery, because HL-450 and HL-451 were already delivered when that one showed up.

This Nurtanio-built NBo105CB is a bit of an imposter. It was once registered as HH-1503 with the Indonesian air force and slated to become PK-DKJ, instead it went to the Indonesian Navy as spares source. In that capacity, it lingered at Juanda for years, marked PK-DKJ. Now, it has been revived as monument for the newly established museum at Surabaya's naval harbour. It received grey colours and serial "HE-4116" in the process, a serial never used in real service.
