This is a Chinook of the Italian Army, being displayed at the static line without any serial and markings, other than the national roundels. Possibly just after the completion of a major overhaul, because of the new paint finishing, but before applying "ESERCITO", the serial and the "E.I.-" individual code. The Vergiate air show of the that years often displayed aircraft or helicopters that were not identifiable or a nightmare to be identified. Any information about its serial will be welcome.
