Some 50 Sycamores flew with the Bundeswehr, this one as as 7806. Four of these (D-HAHN, D-HELM, D-HOSE and D-HEMD) were later transferred to the Lower Saxony Fire Service (Feuerwehr-Flugdienstes Niedersachsen). However, the high maintenance costs and fuel consumption meant that they were soon replaced D-HAHN then became part of the Bad Oeynhausen Motor Technica Museum and was, fortunately, after the museum's demise stored in a dry hangar. It is now at Museum Kiemele and it has not yet been decided if, after restoration, it will be displayed in its Feuerwehr or original Bundeswehr scheme.
