The fuselage frame of F-BBSO/G-AMJM in store with Cliff & David Baker of Auster Spares. Arrived in 1983. Sold in 2018 and registered as G-AMJM to Lincoln owner. No Flight declaration 21 October 2019.

Ex MS968 (incorrectly shown as MT968 by the CAA). Under restoration for static display with the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection, Old Sarum.

Overview of hall 2 of the Museum of Army Flying. TJ569 was later PH-NAD, PH-NEG and G-AKOW; presented as in this Army camouflage since 1986. The British civil registration was cancelled 1987 as pwfu.

Ex PH-NAD, PH-NEG, G-AKOW, TJ569. Preserved since 1981 at the Museum of Army Flying, Middle Wallop, and displayed from around 1986 in Army camouflage as TJ569. Registration cancelled on 5 August 1987 as permanently withdrawn from use.

Ex MS971. Registration cancelled on 2 July 1974 on transfer to US marks, becoming N340W. Restored as G-AMSV on 1 February 1978 and cancelled on 30 January 1980 as permanently withdrawn from use. (Co-incidentally with this, Warner Special G-HOLS was registered on 26 July 1979 with c/n PFA 96-10493 for a proposed rebuild of G-AMSZ with a Bonner engine. It was not completed, and the airframe used for spares then broken up. The registration was cancelled by the CAA on 24 September 1985.)

Registered with c/n 1236 but has also been reported to be c/n 826. The reason for the doubt is that HB-EOC, a different aircraft, has also been officially registered in Switzerland as cn 1236. But it is reported that G-ALFA has the serial RT607 (which is cn 1236) stamped on the fuselage, c/n 826 is serial MS958.

The fuselage frame of G-HOLS/G-AMSZ with JRB Aviation at Southend. G-AMSZ had been registered as G-HOLS in 1979; a "Warner Special" with PFA project number PFA/96-10493. The intention being to fit a Bonner engine, 4 doors and a Cessna 172 undercarriage. The project was abandoned and the dismantled aeroplane ended up with Bob Batt at Southend by August 1982 as spares for G-APBW which was on rebuild. It was still present in March 1984 and is reported to have been scrapped by January 1986.

The fuselages of Auster 5s G-APBW (left) and G-AKJU on rebuild in the JRB Aviation workshop both having come to grief on glider towing duty. G-APBW hit trees on take-off when retrieving a glider at Hempstead, Essex on 25 July 1982 and G-AKJU crashed on take-off at Whatfield on 15 August 1971. G-APBW is current in 2021, G-AKJU became G-TENT which is in store in 2021.
