Seen on display at a Lockbourne AFB air show in May, 1956. The name "Fricka" on the nose is almost totally obscured by the reflection of the sun. Assigned to VW-2 Squadron at Patuxent River NAS, MD.

126513 crashed on landing at Williams on October 31, 1960 at the end of a flight from Christchurch, NZ, during Project Magnet. No loss of life. Wreckage left at the accident site. The scientific equipment fitted to the aircraft was removed. Photo from: Air Force Museum of New Zealand

Entered service in 1954 and retired to MASDC Davis Monthan in 1972. Scrapped in 1976.

Delivered in June 1954 and here with NADU South Weymouth/MA. To MASDC in 1974 and scrapped in 1976. [You can almost feel the noise as she takes off.]

Delivered in 1955 then put into storage at NAF Litchfield Park/AZ in 1960 and scrapped in 1965 with just over 3000 hours total time.
