Belongs to a batch of 26 new-built SNB-5s, BuNos 134692 through 134717, of which 20 were supplied to the French navy in 1953 and the other six to the Dutch navy. The construction number of this preserved aircraft is questionable - it is reported to be MD-9 by an Air-Britain member. On paper c/n MD-9 is s/n 134705, which was sold as N61911 in 1973 and ended up derelict in Iceland.

Built 1943 as SNB-2C, later remanufactured by Beech as SNB-3E and later SNB-5. Based at Blackbushe 1958-1960 with FASRON 200 and used as a navigational trainer. It was redesignated UC-45J 18 September 1962. Subsequently registered N6748A, which was cancelled -9 December 1977.

Stored at MST for some months. Ex French Navy and still showing its serial number 134706

Sent to MASDC in October 1970 then registered to the US Dept of Agriculture as model UC-45J N40086 in July 1974. Cancelled on 21 November 1977.

Built in 1943 as SNB-2 Navigator, converted to SNB-5 transport version by Beech in 1950-51. Retired from the USN in 1959. Registered as N87693, it was purchased by the museum in October 1988. The museum has restored it to SNB-5 configuration.

Ex Navy 23843. Last noted at the Legacy Flight Museum, Rexburg ID in 2016.

Instructional airframe for the University of Hawaii since 1971, struck off register in 1972.
